Chiwi

Chiwi is a male, small-sized, Chihuahua mix. He is approximately 9 years old.

He was rescued by our friends at Patitas de Monte Alban. Elizabeth found him looking for food outside of a shopping center. She thought he might have an owner so she left him. A week or two later, she saw him again, this time very malnourished and looking for food down in an arroyo. She decided to take him back to her rescue area.

He’s been living with Elizabeth’s other rescue dogs and sheep for approximately 7 months. Although he’s one of the smallest of the dogs, he gets along with all the others and helps to keep the peace.

He is very calm for a Chihuahua-mix, and would adapt well to a home environment with other dogs, or as a solo dog who goes on frequent adventure with him human. He would be a wonderful family dog or travel companion!
