Bella
Bella is believed to be a Great Dane/Pointer mix.
Shewas abandoned in a rural mountain town, and was left starving to death. A friend of Caravana Canina, Tanya, picked up Bella and has been overseeing her recuperation.
Since mid April 2024, Bella has been dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks and been vaccinated with the sextuple bundle vaccine and rabies vaccine. She’s tested negative for heart worm, lyme, erlichia and anaplasmosis.
We estimate that she is between 2-3 years old and has had about 2 litters of puppies. She will be spayed on May 9, 2024.
When she was first rescued, she weighed 21.3 kilos, but should weight at least 28-32 kilos. She is currently gaining weight well — about 1.5 kilos per week.
She is a dream girl. Calm, funny, loving, non reactive and so highly food motivated and eager to please, she should be a dream to train. She does get over excited at the sound of a crinkling bag. That said, she is not food protective, and also already goes outside to go pee and poop. She does very well with other dogs of all ages and sizes. She rides well in the car and walks well on leash. This sweet girl is ready for a home!
